Bold and expressive mixed media painting, created during the global lockdowns between 2021 - 2022. At a time when streets were empty and movement was restricted, the artist brought the raw energy of street art indoors—transforming her studio into a private urban landscape.
Unable to be outside due to lockdowns, I felt a deep urge to create using the language of the streets:
The word CHAOS boldly emerges through neon bursts and layered patterns, hinting at the tension between control and spontaneity. Text fragments, stars, abstract shapes, and coded symbols weave into the canvas, offering hidden messages and unexpected moments of clarity.
This piece is part of a larger body of work exploring contemporary emotional landscapes and visual language as a response to personal and collective upheaval.
